Adding an Octane booster improves acceleration and reduces pre-ignition that can cause severe engine damage and reduce power, it also has a ‘keep clean’ effect in both carburetor and injection systems and will help to reduce icing in carburetors. A further advantage of Octane Boosters is they reduce fuel system corrosion. Octane Boosters do not affect mixture settings making fuelling adjustment unnecessary.
